A newly set up small medium size manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a hands-on Accounting Manager/Accountant as part of the pioneer team. The successful candidate will handle the full set of accounts, establish accounting processes and controls, support operational teams, and later build and lead the accounting team as the factory expands.

Job Responsibilities
Full Set of Accounting (Start-Up Phase)
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, cash flow, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Set up accounting system, chart of accounts, and financial procedures from scratch.
Tax, Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and other statutory submissions.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government agencies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls.
  • Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Prepare financial insights to support decision‑making and strategic planning.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting / Business / Commerce or related field.
  • Experience in managing all aspects of finance & accounting of a small set up or a start-up business.
  • Knowledge in manufacturing account (e.g., product costing, tax regulation).
  • Able to work independently at the start up phase.
