Job description

Responsible for managing all financial accounting matters

Maintain the company’s books of accounts in an accurate, reliable, and professional manner.

Ensure all accounting entries comply with the applicable local accounting standards.

Prepare and ensure timely submission of financial reporting slides, monthly management reports, corporate reports, and other ad hoc reports as required.

Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with internal and statutory deadlines.

Review monthly GST reports and manage all GST-related matters.

Prepare monthly tax computations and perform deferred tax calculations.

Undertake any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirement:

Minimum a Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.

Must be a member of MIA, ACCA, or CPA.

At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in computer applications, with strong working knowledge of SAP (mandatory).

Well-versed in Malaysia GST regulations and experienced in liaising with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department
