Job summary

Chop Tong Guan is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting aspects including financial processing and team leadership. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership skills. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin to communicate with clients.

• Responsible for all aspects of accounting including accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee financial processing, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Lead the accounting team to meet KPIs and budget forecasts.

Job description

Responsible for all aspects of accounting, including account payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, cash application and collection.

Responsible for timely and accurate financial processing, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliation.

Oversees the completion of ledger accounts, financial statements, and customer statement.

Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes, ensuring that practices align with the organization's overall goals.

Meet LHDN e-invoicing requirements and timeline.

Set KPI for the account team, lead the team to complete the task assigned, review and supervise the account team to meet management's forecast and budget.

Working Days : 5 days work

Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements

CandidatemustbepossessBachelor's DegreeinAccountingorrelated discipline required.

3-5 years of experience in the field of accounting.

Strong Leadership, management, and organization skills.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

Must be highly motivated and can function independently and multi-tasking.

Must be detail-oriented.

Process well-developed interpersonal and communication, verbal, and written skills.
