Your Team: You will be a key contributor and advisor to the finance team, which includes the Controller (who will be your manager) and CFO.

Your Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure the highest standards of financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting. This role will oversee the accounting team, manage month-end close processes, support audits, and collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership to provide actionable financial insights.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial statements
  • Prepare critical reconciliations for monthly and quarterly closes
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Lead system implementations to improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting
  • Lead the preparation of financial reports and management presentations
  • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Mentor and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Implement process improvements, systems enhancements, and best practices to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Prior experience working with a mulit-entity consolidated reporting structure
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls. Understanding of IFRS a plus
  • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot system errors and complexities
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Compensation and Benefits

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. Salary is just one part of our total compensation package that includes equity, perks & benefits, and development opportunities at Seesaw. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Seesawers. It is our expectation that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at Seesaw will land well within our salary ranges based on these factors.

The hiring range for this position is $110,000-$120,000
