Job summary

Zohorecruit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a senior Accounting lead to head the accounting team, oversee service delivery for a portfolio of clients, and act as the key liaison for client relationships and internal governance. The role requires strong leadership, technical accounting expertise, and Mandarin proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA/MIA is required
• 5+ years of relevant experience including team management
• Experience with SME portfolios and construction industry preferred
• Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) required

Job Description

• Report to senior management on department performance and client matters
  

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MIA) required
  
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, including team management experience
  
• Strong track record managing SME client portfolios / Construction industry
  
• Preferably with Management Services background
  
• Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients
  
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
