Position Overview: Manager of Finance & Banking (ACCA Qualified)

We are seeking a dynamic ACCA-qualified Finance & Banking Manager to lead and strengthen our financial operations, ensuring the company’s ongoing stability and sustainable growth. You will report to the Head of Finance & Banking and oversee all aspects of financial management—from cash-flow planning to statutory reporting—while working closely with banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Review and authorize fund allocations for operational expenses and strategic investments

Position Overview: Manager of Finance & Banking (ACCA Qualified)

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Cash Flow

Oversee and manage company-wide cash flow to maintain financial stability in day-to-day operations
Develop cash reserve and liquidity strategies to support ongoing and future projects
Review and authorize fund allocations for operational expenses and strategic investments

Expense & Payment Oversight

Supervise, approve, and monitor all disbursements (payroll, utilities, supplier settlements)
Implement payment schedules that optimize working capital and eliminate late-payment penalties
Enforce compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies

Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting

Ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivable ledgers
Generate, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the Head of Finance
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulators to maintain 100% compliance

Reconciliation & Compliance

Reconcile bank statements with company records, promptly investigating variances
Monitor and manage company liabilities, ensuring obligations are met on time
Identify process gaps or discrepancies and implement corrective controls

Qualifications & Skills

ACCA qualification is mandatory (membership status must be current); additional certifications such as CPA or ICAEW are advantageous
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4–6 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong expertise in treasury operations, cash-flow forecasting, and banking relationships
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting) and Excel
High attention to detail, strong ethics, and a strategic, analytical mindset
Excellent communication and team-leadership skills
