Accounting Executive (Based in Penang, Bayan Lepas)

Job Summary :

To handle finance operational matters such as AR, AP, cash flow, etc., for PBA Group as a whole, and to assist in compiling monthly financial reports, full set of accounts, management reporting, and other accounting-related tasks.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Manage daily finance operational matters, including AR, AP, and cash flow, for PBA Group and its overseas subsidiaries (e.g., China, Singapore).
2. Support the Assistant Finance Manager in preparing monthly financial reports.
3. Assist in preparing the full set of accounts, including management accounts and bank reconciliations, as needed.
4. Contribute to monthly management reporting.
5. Assist in group cash flow forecasting.
6. Handle intercompany reconciliations.
7. Prepare accounting schedules.
8. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements :

• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Preferably at the executive level with specialization in finance, general or cost accounting, or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing with costing background is advantageous.
• Preferably with audit experience, and familiarity with trading or manufacturing industries and ERP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent worker with minimal supervision.
• Available to start on short notice.
• Detail-oriented, with high integrity and a positive work attitude.
• Willing to work at Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Minimum Qualification: Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
