Job summary

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd is seeking an Accounting Associate in Revenue & Cost to support IFRS 15 & 9 revenue and cost accounting. You will perform monthly closings, review documents, and conduct risk modelling to reflect business realities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and at least 1 year of accounting experience; fresh graduates are welcome. Strong teamwork and familiarity with computerized accounting are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting; costing experience is an advantage.
• Shared service center experience preferred.
• Familiar with computerized accounting is an added advantage.

Job description

Accounting Associate, Revenue & Cost _MYASSC

According IFRS 15 & 9 provide revenue cost accounting support in accounting and manage measure customer's concession, to reflect the business reality.

Performs monthly closing tasks for revenue and cost recognition, especially in checking to relevant supporting documents and risk modelling analysis reviews, to ensure compliance of revenue and cost recognition.

Perform self-inspection on work processes to ensure compliance to company accounting and country practices and guidelines.

Maintain good relationships with internal & external stakeholders, especially in dealing with business inquiries & providing problems solving solution in a timely and effective manner.

Monthly perform balance sheet analysis and identify any risk area to the management team and provide solution to help to improve long ageing Balance sheet item.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Banking or equivalent. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting, comprised of costing will have added advantage.

Candidates with Shared service center experience will be preferred.

Familiar with computerized accounting is an added advantage.

Good team player with ability to work under pressure.
