Job summary

Huawei Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Associate to support monthly closing, reporting and compliance tasks in a fast-paced environment at TRX Exchange 106. Fresh graduates from 2026 are welcome; you will learn Huawei's internal processes while applying IFRS and local regulations.

You will analyze financial statements, assist with tax provisions, coordinate with auditors, and contribute to accurate, timely financial reporting while building a solid foundation in corporate accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting or related field is required.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and local regulations.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting and presentations.
• Preference for tax expertise and digital proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Shared Service Center or audit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing and reporting tasks according to closing schedule.
• Ensure compliance with Huawei internal processes and local regulations.
• Analyze subsidiary financial statements and audit responses.
• Coordinate with auditors and manage audit queries and progress.
• Assess audit risk considering local regulations and tax policies.
• Handle quarterly and annual tax provision and tax account reconciliation.
