Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking an Accountant Team Lead in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur & Sabah) to mentor a growing team of accountants and drive financial excellence. You will partner with senior management on strategic initiatives and oversee bookkeeping, payroll, and payables.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, CPA/ACCA preferred, 5+ years of accounting experience, knowledge of Malaysian standards and tax rules, and experience with Xero or QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• CPA/ACCA preferred."

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of accountants; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Serve as primary contact for high-value clients and manage portfolios.
• Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable; ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior management to align team goals with firm objectives and implement new systems.
