You Will
  1. Handle full set of accounts and reconciliation reports for Malaysia and Australia entities;
  2. Assist in annual statutory audit, taxation matters and company secretarial matters;
  3. Perform daily accounting routine functions;
  4. Support on cash flow management, intercompany transactions and settlement;
  5. Update various trackers, variance analysis and commentaries;
  6. Monitor and reconcile client account balances on a daily basis;
  7. Prepare monthly and quarterly compliance reports to licensing authority (BNM / AFS);
  8. Work together with other teams to continuously improve the quality of financial reporting and automate internal operational processes;
  9. Provide analyses and information in response to ad hoc requests from time to time.

You Are
  1. 5 years or above experiences in preparing full set of accounts and month-end closing;
  2. Degree/Diploma in Accounting or member of a professional accounting body;
  3. Firm grasp of basic understanding of accounting, financial reporting principles and practices and tax law;
  4. Ability to work well in teams and independently;
  5. Great attention to detail; Strong work ethics, with a capability to manage confidential data and communicate with stakeholders;
  6. Experience in payment industry would be an advantage; Interest in working for a fintech start-up and enjoy working with numbers;
  7. Open mind with a willingness to learn; Proactive and possess excellent organizing skill;
  8. Candidate with less experience can be considered as Accountant;
  9. Familiar with MS Office, QuickBooks and other accounting/tax software.
