Accountant (Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur On The Park)

Hotel: Kuala Lumpur on the Park (KULPK), No. 5, Jalan Puncak, Lorong P. Ramlee Banda, 50250

  • Assisting in providing financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of Strategic Plan, Budget and KPO's (Goals Program)
  • Implement and review the financial control, policies and procedures.
  • Day to day running of the accounting department.
  • Checking of timely and correct compliance of the legal and tax matters.
  • Appraising and reporting the day to day financial position.
  • Generation of the timely and accurate MIS.
  • Responsible for monthly closing of books and making P&L
  • Supporting GM for submitting MTFR.
  • Supporting DOFBS for submitting EFPM forecasting.
  • Maintaining the correct and up to date books of accounts.
  • Management of the internal as well external audits as when they happen.
  • Providing necessary financial insights and inputs so as to help formulate the budget and other financial forecasts and plans.
  • Assisting in ensuring payments are made to IHG (All Fees and billings) as fast as possible
  • Calling the monthly P&L review meets.
  • Ensuring the safety and profitability of the company assets.
  • Strict implementation of the CSA and other necessary controls and their regular monitoring.

People:

  • Works with Director of finance & Business Support on manpower planning and management needs
  • Identify training needs, develop formal training plan and conduct the training sessions.
  • Assistance in recruiting the staffs their assessment and reviews.
  • Ensuring the monthly meetings of the department.
  • Assist the purchase and stores department in timely procurement of the material.
  • Assist the receivable section in timely and error free accounting so as to minimize the disputes.
  • Prompt and timely disposal of the employee matters.

Responsible business:

  • Correct and timely tax filing and payments.
  • Priority treatment to the insurance matters in compliance to IHG requirement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
