Your new role

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including AR, AP, and General Ledger.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform profit and loss analysis.
• Ensure accurate recording of accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports (MOR, month-end package, tax package, etc.).
• Ensure timely submission of company tax filings and sales/indirect tax filings.
• Prepare cashflow forecasts.
• Liaise with local banks and HQ Treasury team for liquidity management.
• Collaborate with tax and legal consultants for statutory compliance.
• Interface with other departments and countries for operational support.
• Maintain and update accounting controls in line with HQ policies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Assist in external and internal financial and tax audits.
• Handle GST and SST submissions.
• Assist in monthly forecasts and annual budget preparation.
• Support various projects as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

• A university degree in accounting and finance and/or membership in a recognised professional body such as MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, etc.
• Experience in multinational corporations and multi-entity environments.
• Skilled at managing full sets of accounts.
• Confident, proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused.
• Well-versed in IFRS, GAAP, and SOX.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/IT systems, Oracle Cloud experience is advantageous.
• Fluence in English is a must.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent finance and business acumen.
