Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a qualified accounting professional in Malaysia to oversee month-end closing, financial reporting, audits, and compliance for regional operations. Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA), with a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• 3-4 years of experience in a Big 4 firm or multinational corporation, with exposure to financial reporting, month-end closing activities, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel; knowledge of Power BI, KNIME, UiPath is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across diverse teams in a multinational setting.

Responsibilities

• Month-end closing and financial reporting with journal accuracy.
• Prepare audit reports and support internal/external audits and ensure compliance.
• Oversee General Ledger accounts and data integrity.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to business units.
• Deliver training on accounting guidelines and act as SME for key topics.
• Drive process optimization and digitalization using automation tools.
• Ad-hoc support for local and regional management as required.
