Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the finance team in managing the full set of accounts and financial operations.
2. Assist on reviewing & enforce Internal Control on AR/AP/GL/Treasury/FA.
3. Prepare accounting schedules and reconciliation as part of month end close process.
4. Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
5. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
6. Cash flow planning including handling bank facilities, working capital, and cost control initiatives.
7. Work closely with Head of Department to analyze variances between actual and budget built, provide insights to senior management.
8. Provide forecast information to management for future trend.
9. Perform project cost analysis and assist in preparation of WIP schedules.
10. Manufacturing variances analysis.
11. Purchased Price variances – analyze & segregate price variances between budget and actual price variances based of PO price and standard built.
12. Production variances – analyze & work closely with Planning, Production & Warehouse on configuration created on Production Order variances on std BOM vs actual usage.
13. Validate & analyze Key Performance (margin, Headcounts, order input) & functional P&L trend.
14. Responsible for Tax analysis / schedules for Annual Tax Computation.
15. Ensure compliances with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
16. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
17. Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
18. Managing e-invoicing processes and ensuring compliance with electronic invoicing standards and regulations.
19. Analyse, recommend and implement improvements in accounting systems, procedures and processes to enhance, improve workflow.
20. Provide financial advice and support to the Management.
21. Assist in setting up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
22. To perform any ad hoc task as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree holder in Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent certification.
2. At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field position.
3. Knowledgeable in SAP system is an added advantage.
4. Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, SST, and financial regulations.
5. Good team player with positive working attitude and leadership skills.
6. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills, with proficiency in accounting software (e.g.: SAP/Ms Office) and e-invoicing systems.
7. To be based in Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang.
