Job summary

A leading company in financial services is looking for a finance officer to support financial reporting and management tasks. Responsibilities include reviewing company consolidations, preparing management reports, and assisting with audits. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Accountancy and possess relevant accounting qualifications. Experience in financial reporting and budget preparation is essential. Qualifications

Job description
Overview

Support company financial reporting requirement, involve in month end closing, ensure accuracy and timely monthly submission of management reports, and compile monthly analysis data for the Company and its subsidiary.

Assist in preparation of audited financial report and tax computation schedule.

Assist in Preparation of annual company budget and group financial reporting on a quarterly basis.

Job Responsibility
  • Review monthly consolidation.
  • Assist in preparation of condensed statement for Bursa Malaysia. Key role mainly on Segment Reporting, Capital Expenditure, Related Party Transactions section.
  • Prepare Audit Committee slides, schedules and reports.
  • Supporting in preparation of AGM analysis - mainly on Capital Commitment analysis.
  • Prepare monthly management account analysis.
  • Assisting in budget preparation.
  • Manage non-active company annual financial statement, tax computation and back office operations. i.e. payment and receipts.
  • Liaison and follow up on transfer pricing document, Master File reporting with subsidiaries.
  • Assist in data gathering for tax audit.
  • Perform month end and year end close processes - Financial Accounting.
  • Prepare group consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual management account, financial statement.
  • Prepare budget, cost tracking and control report. (by company department)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons)
  • Accounting Professional Body members (i.e. MICPA, CPA, ACCA or ICAEW)
Year of experience
  • Audit and Assurance - 2 to 3 years
  • Financial/management reporting - 2 to 3 years
  • More than 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting industry with group of businesses
  • Experience in accounting system operations and implementation (Added advantage)
