Job description

We are seeking an Accountant Executive to join our dynamic team at GREAT LEO MEDIC SDN BHD in Shamelin Perkasa, Kuala Lumpur. As an Accountant Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Support the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported

Liaise with internal departments to provide financial information and support financial decision-making

Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor financial performance against targets

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the accounting or finance industry

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records

Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
