Rimbunan Hijau Group is seeking qualified Malaysian candidates with extensive background and skills in Accounting to be based in our overseas office located at Papua New Guinea.

Candidates interested in applying must be willing to relocate to Papua New Guinea.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experience
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred, as the majority of our stakeholders are Mandarin-speaking
• Proficient with MS Office and accounting software
• Experience with project management or account management
• Ability to manage and coach the internal team
• Proven ability to contribute positively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to relocate to Papua New Guinea

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Financial reporting: closing month-end accounts & preparing reports
• Coordinate the audit process, analyze & explain findings, resolve audit issues, and draft audited accounts
• Handle all functions of accounts receivable
• Banking & cash flow control: monitor, project, and plan all payment matters
• Taxation: tax filings, information compilation, tax forecasting & payments
• Prepare annual budget, revisions, control, and explanations
• Credit control
• Oversee e-invoicing and ensure compliance
• Liaise with banks regarding banking matters
• Oversee daily operational functions of the Finance Department
