Accountant (AP)

1. Responsible on regional payment processes of multiple entities within the group;
2. Handle and process payable invoices on a timely and efficient manner;
3. Review and process all staff claims with appropriate documentations;
4. Prepare weekly payment batches for management approval and upload into bank systems;
5. Prepare ad-hoc payments and upload into bank systems as and when necessary;
6. Organize all payment invoices and bank supporting documentations on daily basis;
7. Assist in reconciliation of vendor statements to ensure all aged invoices are followed through;
8. Assist in managing vendor and/or internal enquiries on timely manner;
9. Support on cash flow management, intercompany transactions and settlement;
10. Update various trackers, variance analysis and commentaries;
11. Work together with other teams to continuously improve financial reporting and automate internal operational processes;
12. Provide analyses and information in response to ad hoc requests from time to time.

1. 3-5 years experiences preferably specialising in Account Payable function.
2. Degree/Diploma in Accounting or member of a professional accounting body.
3. Firm understanding on company policies and effective in internal control.
4. Ability to work well in teams and independently.
5. Great attention to detail; Strong work ethics, with a capability to manage confidential data and communicate with stakeholders.
6. Experience in payment industry would be an advantage; Interest in working for a fintech start-up and enjoy working with numbers.
7. Open mind with a willingness to learn; Proactive and possess excellent organizing skill.
8. Candidate with less experience can be considered as Junior Accountant.
9. Familiar with MS Office, QuickBooks and other accounting/tax software.
