Accountant

Minimum Requirements

• To practise as an Accountant in Malaysia, you have the option of either finishing an accounting-related degree or being a full member of a professional accountancy body such as MICPA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Obtain 3 years of practical work experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Monitoring daily financial transactions. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Overseeing accounting procedures. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Ensuring that tax processes and other financial activities follow government regulations.
• Working with banks, public auditors, and other external employees to keep financial records in order.
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule. Verifying that an organization’s expenses stay within budget.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
