As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and administering accounting systems for individuals and organizations. You will leverage your expertise to examine and analyze accounting and financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures. • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Perform monthly and annual closing processes, including bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support better decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, including analyzing expenditures and recommending cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with all tax reporting and regulatory requirements, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit and provide required documentation.
• Develop and maintain internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective financial control.
