Job summary

Ingersoll Rand seeks an experienced accountant to manage financial processes and ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards. This role involves invoice processing, tax declarations, and financial reporting, requiring a strong background in accounting and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Process AP and IC invoices, reconciliations, and bank payments.
  • Prepare internal control documents and financial reports.
  • Conduct yearly year-end audited reports.

Job description

Process AP and IC invoices, reimbursements in SAP system on time and correctly with monthly IC reconciliation.

Post bank incoming/outgoing payments on time and correctly.

Issue sales invoices for shipments and service invoices.

Follow up on overdue accounts receivable payments.

Perform weekly payments from online banking.

Prepare weekly forecasts of bookings and sales.

Handle tax declaration, reporting, and payment.

Perform monthly closing activities in SAP and provide financial reports.

Prepare internal control documents for GL accounts.

Prepare and submit yearly and quarterly budgets/AOP.

Conduct yearly year-end audited reports.

Check and prepare bonds (performance bonds, warranty bonds, etc.).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in multinational corporations or manufacturing industry.

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
