Job summary

A leading company, Evd Engineering, is seeking an Account Manager to oversee financial reporting and project accounting. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree and have substantial experience in project accounting, ensuring timely invoicing and cash flow management. This role offers an opportunity to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in project or construction accounting.
• Familiar with project costing and WIP reporting.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and financial reporting for assigned projects.
• Track project costs, budgets, and monitor project cash flow.
• Prepare financial and management reports monthly and quarterly.

Manage full set of accounts and financial reporting for assigned projects.

Track project costs, budgets, progress billings and revenue recognition.

Monitor project cash flow and ensure timely invoicing and collections.

Review and verify project-related transactions and supporting documents.

Liaise with project managers to ensure accurate financial monitoring.

Prepare monthly, quarterly , annual financial and management reports.

Assist with audit, tax computation and statutory filings.

Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts and submission of reports.

Requirements:

Candidate must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience , preferably with exposure to project or construction accounting.

Familiar with project costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting and revenue recognition principles.

Knowledge of project accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g. MYOB, SQL or similar).

Strong attention to detail, independent and deadline-driven.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Professional certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CPA, MIA) is an added advantage.
