A leading company located in Malaysia is seeking an accountant to manage a full set of accounts. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing tax submissions, and collaborating with the accounts team. Candidates should have prior audit experience and the ability to work independently. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving team in managing efficient financial operations.
1. Handle a full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly and yearly accounts.
4. Enter financial data into accounting software, such as Microsoft Business Central or Xero.
5. Manage tax submissions and liaise with tax agents.
6. Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
7. Assist in cash flow management and budgeting processes.
8. Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure efficient financial operations.
9. Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
10. Perform other accounting tasks as required.
11. This position will be working for a Singapore company located in Malaysia.
Requirements:
1. Must have prior audit experience.
2. Consolidation experience will be an added advantage.
3. Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
