Overview
Are you ready to lead financial operations at our factory? We are looking for a driven and experienced Accountant to oversee all accounting and financial activities directly at our manufacturing facility. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing financial reporting, analysis, auditing, taxation, and budgeting functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounts and financial activities at our factory, including financial reporting, analysis, auditing, taxation, and budgeting.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, monthly reports, and cash flow forecasts tailored to the company\'s operations.
- Collaborate with banks, investors, and regulatory bodies on project evaluations and financial presentations specific to business initiatives.
- Develop schedules and analyses to meet management, auditor, and tax requirements aligned with business operations.
- Implement effective internal controls and ensure compliance with financial and tax reporting regulations within the environment.
- Manage decentralized finance functions across various departments and locations within the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the factory organization to understand operational needs and provide strategic financial solutions.
- Attend and contribute to Board and Subcommittee meetings as required, representing the factory\'s financial interests.
- Liaise directly with government departments and statutory bodies for compliance and approvals related to factory operations.
- Coordinate closely with auditors, company secretary, and tax agents to support smooth factory operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications; MIA membership is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in financial management and familiarity with SAP/ERP systems is advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of Bursa Malaysia requirements and other relevant authorities\' guidelines applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards including MFRS, IFRS, and GAAP.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact within a factory environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in decision-making.
- High integrity, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.
