Job summary

A leading company in Petaling Jaya is looking for a full-time Accountant to support its finance team. Responsibilities include preparing accounting entries, ensuring accurate documentation of accounts payable, and maintaining financial records. Job Description:

  • Support our finance team with the accounting.

  • Prepare accounting entries bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records.

  • Ensure that all AP payments are documented accurately and properly approved before timely payments.

  • Generate ageing reports & post payments and cash receipts to debtor accounts in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, AP, and AR) and ensure timely updates on cash balances.

  • Willing to learn and/or perform a full set of accounts

  • Ensure smooth documentation and administration by maintaining proper filing and record systems.

  • Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned & assisting the company in executing the task.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Degree in any field of accounting/banking/finance.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Accounting software such as SQL, MYOB, and AutoCount are additional advantages.

  • Able to converse in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu to liaise with associates.

  • As training will be provided, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
