Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management.
  • Prepare and close monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
  • Manage accounting processes including general ledger, account reconciliation, and schedule maintenance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support all accounting reporting and operational matters.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and government authorities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, including tax filings (GST), audits, and internal procedures.
  • Assist in new process and system implementations when required.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full set accounting experience as a Finance Executive/Accountant.
  • Experience in accounting for the Singapore market is required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero.
  • CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
