Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including cost analysis and variance explanations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in line with reporting standards.
• Review, reconcile, and maintain general ledger accounts to ensure financial data integrity.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Participate in inventory management processes, including annual stock take and stock reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Perform other ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, costing, and inventory control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Proven supervisory skills with the ability to guide and support junior team members.
• High attention to detail and a meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and compliance.
