Responsibilities:
- Key finance role based in Malaysia responsible for the finance function of Malaysia and Thailand. This role reports to Finance Lead, South-East Asia.
- Accurate and timely completion of finance-related deliverables (including but not limited to budget, forecast, audit, tax, company secretarial, and bank administration) in compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.
- Responsible for Malaysia office administration, capital expenditure, and communication with government agencies/departments.
- Responsible for all aspects of finance-related matters managed by Malaysia.
- Supported by 3 account executives from the shared service team.
- Work with business teams on insights into the performance of the business unit against budget and forecast.
- Leverage insights to provide Finance leadership and guidance to business teams.
- Mentor, coach, and develop the Finance team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 6 years of experience with MNCs and audit.
- Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels in the organization.
- Knowledge of Accpac/Sage 300/RPA is preferred.
- Highly analytical thought process in order to adapt to an evolving business.
