Job description

Location: Remote; requires to travel to Singapore at least twice a month.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: RM 5,500 to RM 8,000

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, ensure compliance with local financial regulations, and support overall financial health and reporting of the company. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable working independently or in a team.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports

Manage full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, cashflow management, etc.)

Responsible for day-to-day transactions, preparation of monthly/ quarterly/ yearly financial and management reports, as well as bank, audit and tax schedules

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Prepare tax submissions (GST, income tax, etc.) in compliance with Singapore regulations

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant government authorities

Support payroll processing and statutory contributions (CPF)

Evaluate and improve on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing accounting processes, internal controls, and procedures

Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in the appropriate accounting period and are maintained in accordance with prevailing accounting standards and company policies and procedures

Collaborate closely within and across departments, and with suppliers to provide financial and management information

Generate financial statements and other required reports for management

Handle other ad-hoc duties assigned when required

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, MIA membership) is a plus.

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)

Prior experience in F&B industry

Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax laws

Ability to handle private and confidential information

Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Enjoys working and contributing in a fast-paced environment
