We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our group, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

Perform investment research and analyzing such as stocks, bonds, currencies, andcommodities

Monitoring market trends and investment portfolio

Investment Planning

Preparation of forecast and budgets.

Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data

Prepares special reports by studying variances, preparing budgets, and developing forecasts

Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Prepare adhoc reports and analysis, undertake special projects as and when required.

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and other financial reports

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and other financial regulations

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities as required

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry

Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
