Job description

  • Management of day-to-day accounting operations of the Company
  • Monthly preparation of full set management and financial accounts including audit schedules and bank reconciliations
  • Internal control checks including conducting stock take.
  • Prepare and review daily journal entries
  • Work with external auditors, tax agents on audit, annual tax returns and tax related matters
  • To perform financial budgeting and forecasting, management and statutory reporting
  • Timely closing accounts
  • Responsible for financial analysis and management reporting
  • Assist in Internal Controls
  • Perform other ad-hoc financial or analytical work as required

Requirements: -

  • Minimum 3 years of full set accounting experience
  • Possess minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Must be an MIA member
  • Knowledge of recent Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Good administration and good communication skills, in both verbal and written English
  • Reliable and meticulous
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Good-to-haves:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possess professional accounting qualification eg. ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, CPA
