Your new role

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly accounts and financial reports in accordance with statutory requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Full Spectrum Accounting: Manage all aspects of accounting and financing for the assigned entity. This includes maintaining the accounting system, handling journal entries, reconciliations, inventory controls, bank facilities, cash flow analysis, and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Independence in Statutory Reporting: Independently handle full sets of accounts and statutory reports with minimal supervision.
Budget Forecasting and Analysis: Assist in budget forecasting and perform financial analysis on profit and loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.
Intercompany Coordination: Collaborate with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
External Liaison: Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and local tax authorities as needed.
Project Implementation and Compliance: Lead project implementations and system upgrades to meet operational and legal requirements.
Financial Reporting System Enhancement: Assist in improving the financial and management reporting system, internal controls, and related policies.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or MIA membership.
Minimum 6-7 years of relevant working experience.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines. High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Attention to detail.
Full set accounts and finance operation experience is a must.
Essential to be bilingual in English and Mandarin (including reading and writing) to handle other Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
Meticulous, team player, quick adaptive, and able to multitask.
Knowledge and proficiency in:

MS Office
MYOB
Xero
QuickBooks
Dynamics (advantageous)

Experience in an audit firm. Good knowledge of the manufacturing/semiconductor industry.

PLUS to have experience in systems migrations exercises. Experience in group consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence. Familiarity with Power BI.

Experience in a public listed company is an advantage.
