Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience required.

We are working with a multinational corporation (MNC) client seeking an experienced Accountant based in Petaling Jaya (PJ).

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly management accounts and annual statutory reports.
• Liaise with company secretaries, auditors, tax agents, etc.
• Ensure timely submission and accuracy of monthly financial reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and issues requiring management attention.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding financial data and reporting needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Preferably with audit and commercial experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft applications; experience in managing or supervising staff is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
