Accountant

We are a bearing manufacturing company specializing in wind turbine bearings. Our Malaysian operations are under construction, with the project scheduled to commence in 2024 and trial production set for the second half of 2025. Once full production capacity is achieved in 2026, we anticipate an annual revenue of approximately 400 million Malaysian Ringgit.

Our factory is located in Johor Bahru, Johor, while our office is at Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru.

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, construction project accounting, monthly closing processes, and preparing monthly financial reports. The role also includes liaising with tax authorities and auditing firms to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
2. Manage expense reimbursements and ensure timely processing
3. Handle accounting for construction projects, including cost tracking and reporting
4. Facilitate monthly closing processes and prepare detailed monthly financial reports
5. Collaborate with tax authorities and auditing agencies to ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

1. At least three years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector
2. Proficiency in English, Malay, and Chinese is essential for effective communication
3. Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
