We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GL Accountant to join our growing finance team. Theideal candidate will be responsible for analysing accounting data and supporting the accounting teamin various financial tasks. Responsibilities

• Support the accounting team in daily operations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Perform variance analysis for financial reporting.
• Review reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in cashflow forecast.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Support yearly stocktake and stock reconciliation.
• Supervise and guide junior staff.
• Review of policies and work process and recommend improvements.
• Ad hoc and other duties as assigned from time to time.
• This role is based at Penang and reporting to Singapore Office.
• At least 20% travelling is required to Vietnam.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Accounting or ACCA.
• At least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Working experience at a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Good communication & supervisory skills and ability to work with people in different levels of the organization.
• Meticulous and with eyes for details.
• Willing to travel overseas for at least 20% of times.
• Must be willing to work at Penang Island, Malaysia.
