Accountant

About the role

As an Accountant at Channarong Sdn. Bhd., you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This is a full-time position based in Bachok, Kelantan, and will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
3. Performing month-end and year-end closing processes
4. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
6. Providing financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
7. Collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a financial accounting role
3. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and procedures
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
