As Data Analysis Analyst within our Global Account to Report (A2R), you’ll manage Finance activities from Accounting data recording to the production of financial reports. A2R consolidates the following activities: Fixed assets, Intercompany, Closing, Reporting, Inventories, Cash Accounting, Transactional tax activities (Tax), Audit support and Master Data.

The purpose of the role is to be the single point of contact for any new request on GL accounts in UNITY and to assist the PCOA master data owner in designing a Global governance with the objective to harmonize all current and existing platforms with Shift and improve process efficiency by automating the data updates between systems.

Main responsibilities:

• A2R Core Model:

  • Coordinate any new RCOA, PCOA, LCOA coming from Consolidation, Business or A2R teams.

  • Request new accounts in UNITY through RFAS ticket and assist when needed in SHIFT and other legacies for master data maintenance.

  • Improve flowcharts CM2.0 once IA performed for platforms.

  • Review UNITY master data and include Account Definition in compliance with Accounting rules.

  • Own Master data and SharePoint updates with PCOA Master data monthly.

  • Collaborate on the UNITY and Legacies Clean-up project with B&S and P&L review and simplification of master data.

  • Perform impact assessment for platform and build SOPs.

  • Review all new requests for GL accounts in UNITY.

  • Build and increase automation for PCoA.

  • Redesign and improve current workflows in MDM to adapt new Governance if needed.

  • Manage interdependencies with other master data.

  • Support A2R country teams in mapping ERPs with Shift and harmonization.

• Projects:

  • A2R Core Model

  • Any project related to GL/PCOA (HACAT Project, P2P&Procurement governance, etc.)

• Stakeholders and Change Management:

  • Identify alignment needs and proactively manage relationships with other Sanofi functions.

  • Ensure A2R Core Model components are well understood to perform an effective implementation.

  • Contribute with all A2R teams and stakeholders involved in PCOA Workflows.

About you

• Graduate degree in accounting or finance.

• Technical and managerial knowledge on PCOA master data in SAP and interdependencies with all master data linked to A2R.

• Effective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders, and partners across the organization and ability to work across different geographies, languages, cultures, and business maturity levels.

• High level of interpersonal/communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization.

• Change agent with strong problem-solving skills and prioritizing capacity.

• Good understanding of common Information System (IS) solutions used within A2R @ Sanofi and appetite for new technologies.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
