About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join ALAN YOON ASSOCIATES' as an Account/Tax Assistant in Ipoh Perak. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and tax support to the firm and its clients.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents
• Assisting with tax planning and compliance for individual and corporate clients
• Conducting research and analysis to support tax and accounting strategies
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and collaborating with the wider team
• Staying informed of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or tax assistant role, preferably in a professional services environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members
• Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
• A proactive, organised, and analytical approach to problem-solving
