Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Account Supervisor to join our team in Kota Kinabalu! This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, extensive accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliation processes.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and tax-related documents.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other external stakeholders.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Identify process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.
Perform other finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or QuickBooks).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
