Account Senior Executive (Accounting Firm)

We are established accounting firm in Klang Valley. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Senior Executive to join our growing accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients, preparing financial reports, reviewing work by junior staff, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. This role also involves client communication and supporting the Head of Department in process improvement and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing accounting tasks for assigned clients on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

• Preparing, reviewing, and finalizing full sets of management accounts for HOD's review.

• Conducting software training sessions related to accounting for new staffs and interns.

• Reviewing CP204, Form BE, Form B, and Form E prepared by the administrative assistant.

• Ensuring reports are delivered accurately and on time.

• Liaising with external auditors and tax agents on client audit and compliance matters.

• Guiding junior and assistant accountants on technical issues.

• Delegating work and assisting with team coordination when required by the HOD.

• Performing any ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma, Degree, LCCI qualification, or currently pursuing ACCA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting firm.

• Proficient in accounting software such as SQL Accounting.

• Good command of English; Mandarin and/or Malay is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
