A Day in the Life of an Accounts Receivable Lead

We seek an ambitious and driven Accounts Receivable Lead whose values align with our TEAM: Together, Extra-mile, Accountable, and Mindful. The role involves working closely with the Regional Head of Finance and the Finance and Operations Team to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, investigation of discrepancies, and maintaining cash flow. Your focus will be on managing the day-to-day incoming payments and supporting the financial health of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Finance & Accounting: Handle daily accounting operations including AR, AP, journal entries, bank reconciliations, bills, and payments. Perform invoice billing, resolve billing issues, prepare and verify refunds, intercompany transactions, and postings. Create reconciliation reports, assist in preparing monthly consolidated accounts and financial reports, support month-end and year-end closings, and generate management reports.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare collection reports, cash flow projections, CFS reports, and support end-of-month/quarter meetings with relevant data and insights.
  • Budgeting, Planning & Audit: Assist in budget and forecast preparations, ensure audit readiness, liaise with auditors and tax agents, and participate in quarterly reviews.
  • Stakeholder Liaison & Communication: Liaise with company secretaries, bankers, tax consultants, and build relationships across departments. Communicate receivables and cash flow updates regularly.

**Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting/finance experience, with financial analysis skills preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Interest in reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Good business acumen, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and be solution-oriented.
  • Experience in coworking, real estate, or startups is a plus.
