Job Description

Accounts Receivable

  • Ensure all payments by Cash, Cheque, GIRO, TT are posted and reconciled accurately and promptly
  • Reconcile credit card postings and payments
  • Review charge-backs from credit card companies and notify the Credit Department
  • Post all deposits and prepayments received in a timely manner
  • Verify Banquet Event Orders for deposit receipt and posting
  • Issue Invoices and Credit Notes as necessary and ensure proper posting
  • Review Waivers and Late Charges requests for accuracy before seeking approval from the Financial Controller
  • Check all invoices before mailing
  • Address guest inquiries regarding billing and charges
  • Ensure AR Aging matches the General Ledger
  • Forward TA commissions and credit card outstanding balances to GL for accruals

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Skilled in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant accounting software
