Job description

Monitoring and controlling all production transaction and accounting functions.

Being responsible for all accounting and financial tasks, including monthly and yearly account closing, budgets, AR, AP, Costing and forecasting.

Managing accounting systems and analyzing cost accounting.

Prepare management reports and analyses to identify and explain variances to support management decision.

Daily Checking transaction e.g Purchase, sales and stock

Advise and solve problem for business unit

Setup master data and communicate with IT Dept

Do account closing end of month

Do costing report and other related report

Do stock count and site visit

Responsibilities for Costing Unit (If assigned into Costing Unit)

Responsible in preparation of monthly financial statements according to requirement of management.

Ensure product costs are calculated accurately in line with the actual physical activity of operation.

Detailed analysis on the business performance.

Responsible for day to day operational matters of accounts department.

Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.

Implement effective internal controls and compliance with company standard operating procedures.

Any other ad-hoc accounting duties when tasked by functional lead.

Responsibilities for Tax, Audit & Reporting Team (If assigned into Tax Team)
1. Analyzing accounting records and reviewing tax returns for direct and indirect tax.
2. Assist in quarterly financial reporting and yearly audit.
3. Assist in the preparation of Transfer Pricing Report.
4. Liaise with External Auditor, Tax Agent, Custom and IRBM for any tax matters.

5. Other ad hoc tasks instructed by superior

REQUIREMENT

Requires bachelor’s degree in accounting or Equivalent.

Demonstrate moderate or high-level proficiency with all desktop application (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and etc)

Candidates are expected to work overtime when required to meet business need.

Candidate are expected to be able to withstand high pressure and ad hoc job

Fast and willing to learn attitude.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English. Other language will be an added advantage

Knowledge in SAP will be an advantage

Account Auditing skill will be an advantage
