Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Accountant Officer in Kuala Lumpur to manage accounting topics for local and international entities under IFRS and local GAAP, with significant involvement in tax and treasury.

Responsibilities include applying group accounting policies, maintaining internal controls, performing monthly closings, preparing financial statements, liaising with auditors, and supporting P2P and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or accounting is required.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience, with exposure to IFRS and local GAAP.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; knowledge of internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Group accounting policies are applied.
• Apply internal control procedures (IcoFr framework).
• Participate in process improvements and tool optimization.
• Perform monthly closings and related tasks.
• Prepare tax packages in coordination with Tax Manager.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide audit packages.
• Produce financial statements for scope entities, including audits and filings.
• Support P2P processes and vendor management.

Job description

• In the role of Accountant Officer you will be responsible for accounting related topics for the local and/or international entities
• (under IFRS and local GAAP) with a substantial involvement in tax and treasury.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Group accounting policies are applied
• Ensuring internal control procedures are applied (IcoFr framework)
• Participate to the efficiency and continuous improvement of processes and tools
• Monthly tasks/ responsibilities
• Perform monthly closing tasks
• Quarterly tasks/ responsibilities
• Participate to the analysis of Balance sheet at consolidation level, IFRS and Directional reporting
• Provide audit package and liaise with external auditors
• Ad hoc requests from Accounting Lead
• Prepare Tax package for Group in cooperation with Tax Manager
• Liaise with partners to obtain accurate data
• Participation in the Tax reporting.
• Prepare financial statements of the entities of your scope including audit and filing.

Education

• Degree in Finance or accounting

• 1 - 2 years of experience. IT tools (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Power point), ERP
