What's the Role?

We are looking for a high-potential candidate with strong business acumen to unleash their potential at Hilti, starting as an Account Manager. This is not an ordinary sales job, as ours is a uniquely high-performing and supportive working culture.

What does the role involve?

The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account's portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies to build long-term, sustainable, and profitable relationships with customers. The role involves professional field sales and high-level customer consultation within the defined territory and target industry. The job holder needs to provide efficient solutions and technical support to customers and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets through the assigned territory.
  • Identify business and sales opportunities and promote Hilti’s product line based on the designated territory and trade segment.
  • Apply trade application knowledge to become a solution provider to customers through demos and user training.
  • Expand sales coverage by acquiring new clients and maintaining good relationships with existing clients to build loyalty.
  • Demonstrate products and services in person, face-to-face with customers.
  • Execute disciplined sales activities with planning (annual, monthly, weekly, daily) to ensure productive sales calls.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, providing ideal solutions.
  • Forecast sales and plan activities, including closing deals via CRM.
  • Prepare quotations and monitor the progress of customer orders to ensure satisfaction.
  • Introduce new products to the market and target customers.
  • Collaborate with departments such as logistics, credit, marketing, technical services, and customer service.
  • Attend to other ad-hoc tasks as required by the team leader.
What you need is
  • At least a Diploma qualification in any discipline.
  • Fresh graduates interested in sales and the construction industry are welcome to apply.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Persuasive, persistent, sales-driven, customer-focused, and a team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about sales.
  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record is an advantage.
