- Professional field sales and high-level customer consultation within territories nationwide in the target industry.
- Developing existing customer relationships and establishing new ones.
- Providing efficient solutions and technical support on building sites, backed by our innovative range of products and services.
- Introducing new products and representing the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
- Promoting and demonstrating Hilti products and solutions using a fully equipped, branded vehicle.
- Exceeding targets and maximizing profitable growth in the region, while managing financial resources allocated to the employee and team.
- Growing the focus customer base within a defined territory through outside, business-to-business, face-to-face sales.
- Developing business plans to effectively maintain and grow focus customer sales.
- Leveraging multiple sales channels to maximize territory revenue.
- Obtaining appointments with decision-makers at construction/industrial companies.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer history and potential to provide detailed knowledge about the account base.
- Working at job sites to identify key roles and their responsibilities and needs.
- Liaising across multiple departments (materials management, logistics, credit, marketing, technical services, customer service) and representing the company professionally.
- Reading and understanding construction documents at a relevant level.
What does the role involve?
The role aims to create value in the account portfolio through effective design and implementation of account strategies to build long-term, sustainable, and profitable customer relationships. It involves professional field sales and high-level customer consultation within a defined territory, providing solutions and technical support, and representing the Hilti brand.
What you need is:-
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering; an MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
- At least 2-3 years of prior sales experience.
- Professional demeanor to build relationships at various levels, including C-suite and operational executives, as well as internal stakeholders.
- A passion for building a career in the construction industry.
- A demonstrated strong sense of achievement.
- Basic understanding and skills to interpret financial statements.
- Comfortable working independently and proactively seeking support when needed.
