Job Description:

Accounting Full Set Management

Independently handle full set of accounts

Manage monthly and annual closing processes

Prepare financial statements

Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Handle bank transactions, cash flow management, and reconciliations

Manage fixed assets

Supervise inventory accounting and stock management

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Perform monthly financial and performance analysis

Conduct cost variance and cost analysis

Prepare management reports for the Japanese Managing Director

Support budgeting and budget vs. actual (BVA) analysis

Tax & Audit

Liaise with external auditors during annual audits

Prepare and submit tax filings (Corporate Tax, SST)

Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards

Leadership / Team Management

Work closely with a 5-member accounting team

Review team tasks and drive process improvements

Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team

Job Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of full set accounting experience, including knowledge of costing and cost analysis

Hands‑on experience with monthly and annual closing, preparing financial and management reports, and experience with tax matters, including SST and audit coordination

Work experience in the manufacturing industry

Team leadership and people management experience
