Work Schedule
Standard (Mon-Fri)

Environmental Conditions
Laboratory setting, office environment, some PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.), and exposure to various outside weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  1. Handle your personal targets to achieve revenue and margin commitments.
  2. Create a work environment that promotes teamwork and partnership, where sales personnel can prosper, find rewards, and be motivated to improve performance.
  3. Undertake sales and marketing activities focusing on achieving sales targets in assigned territories for specific products and/or services.
  4. Make at least 10 customer visits weekly and meet at least 1 new potential customer every 2 weeks.
  5. Respond to all customer inquiries within 2 working days.
  6. Submit weekly sales reports and call plans every Friday.
  7. Provide monthly updates on market trends, competitors, business opportunities, and other relevant information to the department manager.
  8. Lead overall business opportunities in Johor, Klang Valley, and other assigned territories.
  9. Manage annual product quotas.
  10. Ensure consistent and continuously improving customer experience across the organization.
  11. Assist with application matters such as equipment commissioning.
  12. Coordinate with the service team on technical support and warranty issues.
  13. Communicate effectively with Service Engineers to ensure smooth product installation and service.
  14. Discuss external and internal issues, providing suggestions or solutions for improvement.
  15. Provide feedback on wins and losses, and strategize with the manager to improve sales outcomes.
  16. Prepare and report weekly updates on sales activities and status to the department manager.
  17. Participate in departmental initiatives, including marketing, seminars, and roadshows.
  18. Follow through on product delivery and installation, ensuring customer expectations are met.
  19. Assist in collecting outstanding invoices and train new product specialists as needed.
  20. Ensure compliance with GDPMD procedures and company policies at all times.
  21. Ensure all business activities in Malaysia adhere to company guidelines and relevant legal requirements, including MDA regulations and international agreements.
Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Science
  • Minimum 5 years of validated experience
  • Results-oriented with a drive to succeed
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate business opportunities
  • Ability to translate complex information into actionable strategies
  • Skilled in relationship building and network establishment across divisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective time management, and deadline adherence
  • Ability to operate successfully in ambiguous situations and lead change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong influencing and negotiation abilities
