Job Description

Scope of Position: Develop, maintain, lead and measure Expeditors’ product and service deliverables to satisfy the specific needs of a Corporate Account(s).
Continually seek opportunities for service enhancement and improved tactical management. Increase our share of customer business on an annual basis.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Account retention, Strategic responsibilities:

  • Continuously seek improvement in procedures and services to create more efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Implement cost savings within Expeditors through efficiencies or hard cost reductions.
  • Design and manage QMR processes with account input, participate in scheduled QMRs locally, and manage global QMR schedules, consolidating data accordingly.
  • Involve Branch Managers or Key Department Managers in the QMR process and facilitate communication among all key contacts and related Expeditors contacts.
  • Promote cooperation and positive relationships with third-party vendors and communicate technology updates proactively.

Account retention, Tactical responsibilities:

  • Maintain all account rates and tariffs, keep rates updated, and coordinate RFQs and rate requests.
  • Ensure proper documentation and communication of operational requirements, DLSOPs, and key contacts.
  • Support in invoicing, collections, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics and management reports for global consistency and data integrity.

Account development, Strategic responsibilities:

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities by improving processes and eliminating waste.
  • Develop and review annual business plans with key stakeholders.
  • Update teams on opportunities and maintain commitment to ethical business practices and detailed operational management.

Account development, Tactical responsibilities:

  • Travel as needed within the region and internationally to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain communication with key contacts and organizational charts, providing industry updates and service notifications.
Qualifications
  • University/College degree or equivalent, with 4-5 years of experience in the logistics industry.
  • Ability to develop and document business processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Strong customer service, project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
